This fall we have been on the water a lot chasing Brown Trout on the Middle Provo River near Park City, Utah. We’ve had some great days and seeing a lot of Blue Wing action. The weather has been crazy – we’ve seen some VERY snowy days and some VERY warm days during September and October…who knows what November will bring.

Below are some of the recent success’s we’ve had with our past clients (make sure to check the bottom of the page to see our weekly fly fishing report):

(Michelle – 18″ brown trout – guided by Steve)

(Mark – 22″ Brown trout – guided by Jerry)

(Guide Ryan Stokes caught this monster 24″ fish last week fishing in Idaho!)

As you can tell from the pictures above, the fishing has been great. We would love to get you, your family, or your friends out on the river for a great day of fishing. You can book your trip online or by contacting us.

Below is your weekly fishing report done every Monday:

MIDDLE PROVO RIVER:

The dry fly fishing has been good, there are still a lot of people out on the water with recent high temps in the 70’s last week. Should be fun to see more BWO’s and better hatches this week with the storms moving over the Park City/Heber areas.

Midges have been coming off early morning, very small (size 24). If you fish small 24 midges nymphing you will do quite well.

BWO’s have been hatching between 11 am and 1 pm and lasting till as late as 4 pm. Most BWO’s are very small and dark to light dark  in color. (size 22-24)
